Resurgent Productivity: 3 New Levels Today

After the last few weekends saw quite a bit of time away from the keyboard, I was back at it strong today with the rough drafts of three new levels designed for EARL’s Warehouse – the seventh, ninth, and tenth of the expansion. The tricky level I had designed previously was slotted in as the eighth level.

This means only one more puzzle level, a boss level, and a bonus level remain until the first drafts of all levels of the expansion are finished.

The new levels saw some old friendly robots make a reappearance, and levels seven, eight, and nine set the stage for a major set-piece level ten, which has a new puzzle mechanic, a cannon-impervious forcefield that must be deactivated.

I am really, really pleased with how the expansion is turning out. I think it is taking everything right that I did with the original levels, and raising the bar even higher. I look forward to releasing this great addition to EARL’s Warehouse!
