Finally, after fighting me for a while, the house customization feature has come together. Intended as a mid-game to late-game activity, house customization will let you refinish nearly every aspect of the house. Repaint walls, switch from tile to carpet and back again, re-shingle the roof, all in the name of improving(?) your home’s appearance.
Seen here is vinyl siding in the stylish “Mr. Floyd” color, accented by vinyl trim in the color of “Fore!” Such bold color choices belie an eccentric personality. Annoy your neighbors to no end with “unique” decoration choices like these!
Home improvement projects are accessed through the workbench furnishing located in the garage. The cost of a project is based on the project’s size and the material used. Be as outlandish as you want; the game will not penalize you based on whether your colors and styles match.
I’m pretty sure this, and buying and placing new furnishings are the largest features remaining for the game to be greenlight ready. Stay tuned for more!
